I was a big horror movie fan for years. Now not so much, especially since the lad left and I don't have anybody to watch them with. Plus I'm getting old and my bladder isn't what it used to be.

Les Says: Well, there's always that "coffee cup trick", y'know, OldGuy. Tried and true... well... not by ME. Yet.

Les,

My girls both love horro movies. They scare me. My Exorcist story had something to do with the book, which I read when I was 16. I kept on glancing at the window behind me each time a scary scene would open up.

Oh, and the Omen!? The original one?? I was so scared of that little boy, I tell you, I still can see his eyes in my mind!!

The thing is my daughters like watching these films, and like you get scared at every tiny little sound in the house... when darkness falls... hahahahahaha!

Nowadays I watch these movies in the daytime. With the windos opne. The sun streamning inside. Somehow it loses a bot of its creepiness...

Cecilia

Les Says: I don't think I would enjoy a horror movie in daylight. Half the "fun" of a good horror flick is the being scared. At night. It's that the creepiness continued once the movie was over that has me a little freaked.

Brrrrrr. That IS creepy! Betcha you'll choose another movie genre for a while.

Les Says: We may have to cancel movie dates altogether. I'm afraid to touch the dvd player.

Oooooh, shudder.. I've had more than my fair share of spooky occurances, and I know you agree, they ain't nice, not at all, at all, at all!!

That Carrie film really got to me, I went to see it with my sister, but I lived alone. My house was set in a remote, virtually unlit back alley, and to get the key in the lock, I had to pass a black open stretch of earth. I stood near there for ages, visulising a hand erupting up to yank me down. One hour later, I was asleep on my sisters couch!

Les Says: Asleep? ASLEEP?! AUGH! How scared could you have been? I shouldn't say that - I DID sleep.... on the couch.
