Mrs. Smith, with her whacked-out accent is based on my memory of an elderly next door neighbour I fondly called "Mrs. Unpronounceable". I don't remember where she came from originally, but she said things like, "Mebbe I gotta need more," a lot.</em> Oh, that is delicious! And so credible, too..
