I Might Have Just Taken My Favourite Pic of 2007
“Untitled”
Taken November 20, 2007 with Canon PowerShot A550
I want
someone
to pay
me to sit
on my
ass and play
on the computer all day…Well, recently taken, anyway. I’ve had a time-squashing last few weeks, and have yet to get all my pics ’shopped and uploaded. This particular one, of course, should have been posted the evening of the day I took it. I’m not sure what stopped me.
I do know that I had the same set of 30-odd photos open in Photoshop (un-shopped) and inadvertently closed the program. Twice. I think I forgot about them after that.
I want someone to pay me to sit on my ass and play on the computer all day… wait a minute… I think I have that job already. Yeah. I’m just not playing at the stuff I really want to play at. Yet.
Anyway, I need a title for it, and I’m tapped. Suggestions? Please??

How ’bout Scooby Dewbie Dew?
Very cool picture! That would be a good one to blow up and frame like some o’ that actual art, you know?
Les Says: You should see the full-sized version – I’m considering a print for myself; it’s that spectacular. I keep meaning to upload and link to the large versions of the pics… and… then that Time-Squash thing hits again. Sigh…* Someday…
Meantime, I will consider your caption… Ummmm… no. LOL!

How about “Tranquility”?
That or, “Damn this picture actually took my mind off my own problems for a minute or two.”
Tranquility probably has more market appeal.
Les Says: LOL! I’m glad you found a tranquil moment, for a change. I’m kind of chuffed to think you found it in one of my photos.
I don’t find this one “tranquil”, in the least, somehow. I feel very excited when I look at it. It’s a good title, though, and I will mull it over.

I want to put that grass in my mouth. Weird, huh?
Les Says: Ewww. I can’t let you do that, sorry. Steel town. West End. I like you too much to risk the carcinogens.
You’re right, though… it LOOKS good!

“Misty Wet”
It’s from one of my favorite songs by Van Morrison – Sweet Thing,
“We shall walk and talk
In gardens all misty and wet with rain
And I will never, never, never
Grow so old again.”
Les Says: Wow! I love the vision that inspires. So far, Mushy, you win.
Then again, it might just be that I love your taste in music – most people I “talk music” with have never even heard of Van Morrison, and I end up wanting to slap them like a driving instructor…

God’s Tears In The Morning
Who Left The Sprinkler On Again?
Help Me, I Dropped My Contact Lens
Les Says: ROTFLMAO!!!! Now, I want to set up a caption rotator and use them all! I may have to do that. I’ll add it to The List of Things to Do, and perhaps we’ll see headway sometime in the New Year.

You know what? I’m there! I would so be there in a heartbeat. If you hit the road, I’ll tell you where to pick me up
Les Says: What ‘if’?! Ha! Slap-Happy Driving Instructor has already booked my G1 Exit EARLY, followed 1 hour later with my G2 Exit, followed several weeks later (fingers crossed) with my first practice run. It pays to have had a previous perfect driving record and to have snuck in minutes before the graduated licensing laws would have trapped me for three years.
There’s another blogger up your way that I wanna see, too. Might just as well start in my own province, right?
Now that we’ve confused all the Non-Ontarians, I must mix myself a drink. No martinis tonight, I’m afraid, but the rye was a gift, and I dare not look that horse in the mouth.

How Green Was My Blog
Great photo!
Les Says: Odd as that is, I kind of like that one… and thanks – I think it’s great, too.

Hey Les-Baby! It’s too late for me to do any thinking. LOVE LOVE LOVE that picture. We just got a new camera and I’m totally inspired! I’m leaving for Thailand next week. I’ll be posting some of the pix from my new camera once I get there!
Just wanted to swing by here and wish you a happy holiday. HAVE FUN!!!! And party like it’s 2008!
xo
Les Says: DENI!!!!! Ha! I was starting to wonder if you were still “on hold”! I’m so jealous of your Thailand vacation – can’t wait to see the pix.
And party? Damned right! 2008 is already MY year.
New York City is on my list – I will be looking you up, my dearest… watch for me.

Love love the photo! Looks like a weave for a spider web. Hey — there’s a title, Weave for a Web. Okay. Well. I’m late coming to the list, so all of the good ones were taken.
Les Says: Obviously not, Elle, since that one’s pretty darned good. And hey, I was just over at your place. I’ll get back over there sometime tonight to LMAO some more. You are way too funny…
