I was quite saddened when I heard this. George Carlin was one of my favourite comedians when I was in high school and university.
Les Says: I KNOW!! I’m having a hard time with this. I feel like I lost a good friend.

The amazing thing about George: he made us laugh at our own stupidity and his comedy was full of insight.
Les Says: I always found, when he went off on a tangent (especially about politics), that I’d forget he was supposed to be being funny - and then he’d throw out a zinger and floor me with laughter.
