Yay! It worked! You’re a genius. If someone sent me all that garbled mess, I wouldn’t have a clue what to do about it.

So now I’ll tell you about #43. I am from Missouri. My boyfriend was from St. Louis and was WAY into hockey. Of course when in high school in those days, girlfriends got interested in whatever boyfriends were into. I loved hockey. I think I actually liked it for a long time. But I REALLY had a thing for Wayne. All over my walls and closet doors in my dorm room! No one understood, because I was in Missouri! Most people didn’t even own ice skates! Didn’t matter to me. Wayne was IT!

Les Says: I didn’t go quite THAT far… but I’ll admit to a secret crush a couple decades later…

Prior to the NHL, he played in the Ontario Hockey League right here in Sault Ste. Marie, for The Greyhounds. YES, he did. Right the F HERE, where I now live.

So I HAD to develop a crush and become an avid fan, or they wouldn’t have let me move here. Maybe, if I “re-develop” that crush, they will let me move to California…? Well, one can dream. Sigh…*

P.S. I AM a genius. Of sorts. Ahem.

I thought the whole idea behind a crush was that it was secret. Like the other person who has the crush doesn’t reveal to you that they have said crush.

Isn’t that how it works? That’s how I always do it.

I mean *did* it. I’m married. Happily married. I don’t crush anymore.

Not much. And certainly not in an obvious way.

Is that how it’s supposed to work?
