What a jackass I am! The first thing I said to her after "Hi" was "Say apple?!" And then I swear to Neptune the next thought was, "Damnation! I should have asked her to say "Dollar." I guess I'm just going to have to call you and hear you say "Dollar" over the phone and then remember to ask you to say it in person. I am totally grinning ear-to-ear reading your post and remembering our fun quick visit. What a great time that was, even if it did go so fast. And I must say that's a helluva foot model up there. Who's that? Oh, right. That's ME! And I STILL laugh, out loud, when I think of your "eh?" slipping out. I think I've identified the source of amusement. It's the inflection on the eh, it's not just a throwaway statement, the way I use it.
