Where The Walls Are Soft.. Hmmm… Really?
Another great blog with various thoughts and a personal touch. I like its quotes which I hope the author can share the code to me and I also like the moving puzzle at the top of the right sidebar. The first blog which I had seen a main entrance page… well here comes, Where The Walls Are Soft.
I like how the author describes her blog in Entrecard…Mostly I write about “Ruby”, my Little Old Land-Lady. She says the Internet is full of crooks and The Government. She has fans.Well that land lady really could have fans because of what she wrote or what she inspired you to write in your blog. Her blog gives inspiration and shares various take on many of the common issues that we face each day. It will give much of the inner scene into common problems of everyday life.

The people I am passing this award on to are woman I would love to spend time with. Most are people I have never met but who have drawn me into their lives by virtue of their abilities and characters.
Les- my Canadian friend. I keep an eye out for a big unwieldy motor vehicle turning into my
driveway.

On Sunday, March 23, 2008, Mushy had this to say in an interview at Authorblog…
Meeting Ruby, the wonderful elderly lady that Les Becker writes about, was important to me as well. Les can write and does a wonderful job of making Ruby’s past life live once again. Les can take a story from anyone and hold you spellbound until she’s finishing telling the tale.

Review: Les Becker
February 14th, 2008 · 8 Comments
Today’s website review is of Les Becker.com a site written by a Canadian who muses on her life, her landlord and her random online friends. That’s it.
Take Me Away: The subtitle of this site is “Where the Walls are Soft” and I agree. Reading this site makes me want to be committed. It’s mind numbing mush. I don’t care about you and I don’t care about your stupid life.
Actually, he had a lot more to say… go check it out.

And the award goes to…
Where the Walls are Soft This broad is just that — a broad and I love her. She’s super cool and she writes about Ruby’s stories (memories from her landlord who refuses to be photographed or caricatured on the evil internet.) Ruby’s stories are going to write a book themselves whether Les puts them together or not.

READ LES! A fabulous storyteller, with a sense of humor to match her considerable writing skills. Ruby and her tales are a must, along with Les’ continuing account of her life and times and everything else…

One of my regular reads. Great writing style and you really HAVE to read about Ruby.
- Bebo Author - 2008-01-16
I love this blog! She’s great at sharing stories of her landlady, Ruby. That woman — Ruby — is going to become a celebrity through this blog. And I’m still waiting on the full story of Ruby’s mother, a woman who did hard labor on a farm, raised children, slaughtered her own chickens and did ALL of it.
Minus.
Forearms.
