Kyla got a summer job at the YMCA as Camp Coordinator of several of their kids day camps – four of them if I’m not mistaken. FOUR! Not sure how she’s gonna pull it all off, but I do know she has “homework” every night.
She’s putting together all the plans for each week’s activities, plus figuring out the shows (they’re doing a different musical each week), and likely trying not to kill campers. Or me.
I know she’s trying really hard not to kill me, cuz I’m not dead yet.
Between her job, her course in American Sign Language, her training to take over the “Deaf Fit” class in the fall, and the gym a couple of times a week, she doesn’t get a lot of down time. A half-hour rolling on the ground with her dog is probably just what she needed today…
She amazes me a little more every day.
Judging by the last pic, though, “amazing” is not likely what she’s thinking when she looks at me.
I’m just gonna go ahead and hit the publish button before she comes up to my belfry and asks me what I’m up to.
And, Pssst! Today’s random song was a lovely bit of serendipity – it’s really what came up on the playlist when I randomized for this post. Now, how cool is that?!
